ஆங்கிலத்தில் பழக்கத்தில் உள்ளது .
Cosmos என்ற ஆங்கில எழுத்து kosmos என்ற கிரேக்கச் சொல்லாகும். அதன் பொருள் ஒழுங்கமைதி ஆகும்.
Uni +Verse = Universe என ஆங்கிலத்தில் அழைப்பதை,
தமிழில் ஒரே பதம் பல்வேறு அண்டச்சரசாரங்களையும் உள்ளடக்கி ஒரே பொருளில் எளிய முறையில்
தமிழில் பயன்படுத்தலாம்.
