My comment on the Hindubusinessline in Cyclone relief: No solace for TN farmers

The Southern Region, particularly Tamil Nadu is neglected by the Central Government Rulers on many issues. The recent Gaja cyclone is one such incidents. The damage caused on recent cyclone could not estimate properly unless the rescue forces should be deployed by the Government and other social sectors in warfooting. The cost of assessment of damaged agricultural produces is already in very deplorable condition. Now, the cost of valuation of these cyclone affected areas should be earmarked separately and need to be streamlined immediately and to be restored in normal conditions. The inadequacy of farmers is mounting up and they should be properly diverted and encouraged for adequate livelihood.
